Oroville City

Oroville- “City of Gold”

Long a favorite with outdoorsmen, the rugged Gold Country around Oroville appeals to anyone with an appreciation of California’s past. Wildflower flourishes amid abundant trees and along the forks of the nearby Feather River and Lake Oroville with its 167 miles of unspoiled shoreline. The Feather River Salmon and Steelhead Hatchery has been California’s best kept secret.

Shopping is close at hand, with a small center located within walking distance of the Oaks front gates.

In just a few minutes drive, Oroville offers all the conveniences of a large city with the hospitality of a small town. Modern hospital and dental facilities, religious services, shopping centers and restaurants are also nearby, as well as county and state colleges. You also have the opportunity to participate in various local cultural events and festivals.
